Eli Leland
Voltaiq
Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer
In 2012 Eli co-founded Voltaiq to develop great data visualization, analytics, and automation tools for the energy industry. They have been running in production at their first customer since mid-2012, and they have received SBIR funding from the US Dept. of Energy and the National Science Foundation.
The idea for Voltaiq sprang from his work as a cleantech engineer at the CUNY Energy Institute, running a research project funded by ARPA-E and NYSERDA. He was a 2010 Mirzayan Fellow in energy policy at the National Academies in Washington, DC. He has an MS and PhD in Mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley, and a BSE from Princeton. Prior to graduate school he worked for Trilogy Software, building and deploying enterprise software systems to the Fortune 500.
